The total stay was perfectly pleasant in a town. The location was incredible and handy, within easy walking distance of Gallery-S. It was located in a domestic area just off walking trails, an excellant base for me.

This has to be the nicest hotel we have stayed in, the seperate rooms are lovely and very well decorated. It was comfy and warm and has lovely views.
the only draw back to this place is the fact that is on a very large hill, but even walking up that was fun

The location is great, being next door to a pub and close to Bakewell and Derby. the staff is efficient and helpful. - the units are bright and spotless, with cozy duvets in the bedroom. - There is a lovely beer garden to enjoy.

Friendly staff.
A bit out of the way, at the very top of a very steep hill. The breakfast is expensive and the claim to have 'food all day' is not true, they stop serving between 2pm and 6pm meaning if you wish to eat in that time, you have to walk down the long, steep hill to find something, then walk all the way back again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Duke Of Wellington very much. The hospitality was over and above the usual standard. We were looked after and the food was excellant.
We have no complaints, only to say that you can walk down to the town alright but do not attempt to walk up the hill, it,s very steep.

Conveniently situated on the outskirts of town, near a charming pub with delicious food. Plus, the location is a stone's throw away from a picturesque hill and the city of Leicester! 🌟

Small quiet room was clean . Pub meal was good value.
Room was expensive for what was basicly a "pub with rooms". The pub itself needed some updating.

Nice rooms set apart from pub, in converted barn. Excellent friendly atmosphere. Good food too. Out of the town centre up a hill, but do not let that put you off. Walk down and get a taxi back! A nice place. Will not hesitate to go back.
